Along with Mi 11 Ultra, Mi to launch more Snapdragon 888 phones

Xiaomi had last month declared that it’ll shortly bring the Mi 11 series to India. Later, it confirmed that the Mi 11 Ultra India launch can happen on 23rd April. The company has conjointly been teasing the phone since then. That created most smartphone enthusiasts surprise what happened to the ‘series’. Well, Xiaomi India Chief Manu Kumar Jain has currently confirmed on Twitter that the corporate will be launching ‘many’ Qualcomm Snapdragon-8 series smartphones on the mentioned date.

This means that we can expect over one smartphones in India later this month. It is the first smartphone to have a Snapdragon 888 SoC.

These include – Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11i, and the Lite 5G. Out of these, the Mi 11, Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11 Ultra, and the Mi 11i are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, while the Mi 11 Lite 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 780 chipset.

According to Manu’s tweet, few of the first three can arrive in India.

“Happy to bring #Snapdragon888 on not 1, but many Mi phones,” Jain said, indicating that the company will launch multiple Snapdragon 888-powered smartphones.

All the smartphones will price on the upper aspect as they will come from China. The smartphone can value over Rs 70,000 within the country.

The smartphone features a 6.81-inch sAMOLED display with QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 512GB of UFS 3.1 fast storage. The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W fast wired as well as wireless charging.

The phone has a triple rear camera setup as well as a primary 50-megapixel Samsung GN2 sensing element with OIS. Also, a secondary 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 optical instrument zoom lens with OIS and a 48-megapixel Sony ultra-wide unit. On the front, there’s a 20-megapixel camera.
