WhatsApp might soon let you log into Web version with fingerprint

Earlier while logging on WhatsApp on your desktop, one usually scans the QR code. It might seen a slow process when you are not around your phone. So, to ease this for you, WhatsApp might soon be able to login to WhatsApp Web with your fingerprint.

WhatsApp is testing a fingerprint login system on the latest beta for Android (2.20.200), as per WABetaInfo.

As per reports by The Next Web, this feature works similar to the QA code interface WhatsApp currently uses to authenticate new desktop sessions.

The new method is going to be easier and the process is almost the same. With the feature, one can just log in with your fingerprint on your phone which will get you on WhatsApp Web. There will be need of phone but fingerprint is easier than scan!

Talking about security, this is more safe. Apart from these, WhatsApp is working onmany other feaures. The company was working on a way to use the Web app without the phone. Also, the were working on a feature which will let you use the same phone number across multiple phones.

For now, there is no official date for the release of feature.
