The most used messenger WhatsApp is all set to launch a new feature. This includes allowing more than four people in a group video call. Seems like it is all set to compete the much in trend  Zoom app!

Earlier WhatsApp allowed only 4 people to attend a group video call. But now, with the new upcoming feature it is all set to expand the limit.

According to WABetainfo, whatsapp is set to extend the limit of its group video call participants. The limit is still unknown. Before launching the feature it will make sure that it is glitches and bugs free. The feature was spotted by WAbetainfon in WhatsApp Messenger beta for iOS 2.20.50.23.

The Home Ministry said , “Many organizations have allowed their staff to work from home to stop the spread of coronavirus disease. Online communication platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Teams for Education, Slack, Cisco WebEx etc are being used for remote meetings and webinars. Insecure usage of the platform may allow cyber criminals to access sensitive information such as meeting details and conversations,” .

With the issues in the security of the Zoom app and it being banned by many countries and companies WhatsApp is all set to take a toll in this lockdown period. Although WhatsApp is all is also not back in terms of security issues and breaches the company will make sure to eliminate most of its flaws before launching the feature out.
Currently people those who are not using zoom are preferring to use Apple FaceTime, Microsoft teams, Hangouts and Skype.

Whatsapp to launch the new feature soon! Remember to update..
