Visit these 5 Pandals virtually this Ganesh Chaturthi!

As everything is going online, from school to parties, festivals are also in the line. Following the social distancing, Bappa is all set to give live darshan on Zoom, Facebook and Google platforms. Also, because of pandemic, the duration of the festival has cut down in some places. From ten days it has come to 2 days. Here are the places in Delhi who are going live on Ganesh Chaturthi.

1. Maharashtra Sadan, Delhi

Here, Bappa will stay for five days. Also, there will be no event or procession this time. There will be a morning and evening aarti. There is restriction on visitors and will follow proper sanitisation and temperature checks at the place. 

2. Ganesh Sewa Mandal, East Delhi

This is a 18-year-old association in east Delhi. The darshan slots is for 30 minutes with maximum of 20 visitors. Also, they will be live on Facebook for darshan. Abiding to safety norms, it is a short two-day function. They will also telecast two musical programmes.

3. Sarvajanik Utsav Samitia, Delhi

A body of prominent Marathis, they celebrate the festival with spiritual songs, theatre performances and a lot of dance drama. For this year, they will bring Ganpati at a member’s home. This will happen for the first time in 25 years. They will go live on Zoom with the aartis.

4. Marathi Mitra Mandal, Delhi

Marathi Mitra Mandal, is one of the oldest mandals in NCR region. The will be live on FB this Ganesh Chaturthi . In almost 35 years, this is the second time that they are brining Bappa for one and a half days.

5. Sarvajanik Ganeshotsava Samiti, Gurgaon

Sarvajanik Ganeshotsava Samiti will have online celebrations for a week. Also, this year marks the 100th death anniversary of Lokmanya Tilak, the founder of Ganpati festival. This is the reason why the committee is having a week-long celebration.

Even though the duration has been cut short, the enthusiasm to celebrate remains the same!
