Twitter users have been demanding an edit button for long. As per reports, the company is working on an Undo button but it will not be available to all the users. Those who pay for the service will get access to the feature! So, the undo feature is going to be a paid feature!
Tech Researcher Jane Manchun Wong revealed more details about the same on her Twitter handle. As per Wong, Twitter is working on the feature it will only be available to the subscribers. Also, she put up a screenshot from what looks like a subscription setting homepage. It features an “Undo Tweet” option. The Undo button can be used to stop a tweet from getting posted.
So, for instance, if you did a factual or a grammatical error in your tweet, you can use the undo button to first correct your mistake and then post it without deleting.
In an earlier event, Twitter had shared its plans of launching a paid service. The micro-blogging site announced a paid subscription service called Super Follow.
The Super Follow mode will let the users make money for their tweets. Also, the followers will have to pay money in order to get access to the exclusive content of some of the popular creators, influencers. This includes tweets, a badge indicating support, a subscription to the newsletter, and more. Talking about the pricing, Twitter would charge a monthly amount of $4.99 for a Super Follow subscription.
Twitter said in a statement,
“Exploring audience funding opportunities like Super Follows will allow creators and publishers to be directly supported by their audience and will incentivize them to continue creating content that their audience loves.”
