Sikkim has India’s first glass Skywalk with breathtaking views!

Now you can walk above the mountains on a glass bridge. Forget visiting Canada for a Skywalk, as we have one in the country now. Sikkim has a beautiful glass Skywalk above the mist-clad mountains of Pelling. The Skywalk has the Himalayas in surroundings and overlooks the 137-feet tall marvellous statue of Chenrezig. The statue in Pelling is the fourth tallest statue in Sikkim. Also, the Sikkim Skywalk is India’s first glass Skywalk.

The Sikkim Skywalk with its glass floor came up in 2018 and since then more than thousands of tourists visit the place. This will satiate your adventurous soul. It is India’s first-ever glass-bottom Skywalk. The bridge gives a beautiful panoramic view of the mountainous region.India's First Glass Skywalk Pelling Sikkim

The breathtaking view will make anyone fear.  Visitors can see the Teesta and Rangit rivers nearby. So, the Skywalk remains open from 8 AM to 5 PM. Entry with tickets is there which is for ₹50. The Skywalk is around 2.5 kilometres from the Pelling city. As you walk, you might feel like screaming! So, get ready for some adventure.

So, a visit to this is totally worth it. If you pay a visit to Pelling, do visit the Skywalk too.
