Singapore launches ‘Cruises to Nowhere’! Read below to know more!

Flights to Nowhere has been quite popular s all this while. Its now time for Cruises to Nowhere. So, Singapore made announcement that it will be launching cruises that don’t visit any port.

As per reports, Singapore’s national tourism board has come in partnership with two cruise lines for pilot runs. These are the Royal Caribbean International’s Quantum of the Seas and Genting Cruise Lines’ World Dream.

Also, issuing a press release, the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) states that Genting Cruise Lines’ World Dream will be offering cruise services from November 6. On the other hand, Royal Caribbean International’s Quantum of the Seas will sail from December.

Singapore to start Cruises to Nowhere to boost tourismTo make sure that hygiene norms are in places, the cruise ships will depart from and return to the same spot. There will be no port calls in between. Moreover, these ships will operate at 50 per cent capacity. Also, for now it will be available for Singapore residents only.

The Dream Cruises President Michael Goh said, they are delighted to be the first cruise ship to restart operations in Singapore. This will provide boost to the industry. Adding, this initiative will provide locals with more vacation options.
