Many places in Himachal pradesh are seeing snowfall. If you are a mountain person, then it is the best time to go to the favourite Shimla and Manali! As per reports, areas like Kufri, Sangla, Narkanda, Kharaptthar and other saw the first snowfall of the season on November 16. Also, rainfall came in the middle and lower Himalayas of the state.
Moreover, the major roads and five national highways are open, but a few link roads in the interior areas are shut.
The Shimla Deputy Commissioner Aditya Negi told a news website that workers have been there to clear roads. Also, he has gave an advisory to the locals and tourists to avoid stepping onto risky skidding points after dark.
The Hill stations including Kalpa, Dalhousie, Keylong, Chamba, Dharamsala and Shimla are already freezing at 6 to 16 degrees below normal temperatures.
Also, as per news, the MeT office has prediction of dryness in the region from November 17 to 22.
Many of us love Manali and Shimla. So, our favourite hill station Manali receives its first snowfall. Also, the Rohtang Pass is impassable due to heavy snowfall.
Moreover, the Lahaul administration is also stopping vehicles from moving from Koksar towards Rohtang Pass. Also, the Leh route has been block beyond Jispa in the Lahaul valley. The Aut-Luhri highway has been close after the snow in the Jalori Pass.
