Soon you will be able to Kolkata will be able enjoy a 90-min cruise journey on the famous Hooghly river. As per reports, the West Bengal Transport Corporation (WBTC) will launch the programme on the Hooghly river.
Also, the reports said that the trip will begin from October 1. The trip will start and end at the Millenium Park jetty. Only INR 39 is to be given as a part of this journey. It is a must-try experiences in Kolkata in case you want to enjoy the surreal views of Howrah Bridge.
WBTC Managing Director Rajanvir Singh Kapur stated, the idea is to make the heritage river cruise experience, affordable and popular.
The timing will be from 4 PM to 6 PM (Monday to Friday), and from 12 PM to 2 PM and 4 PM to 6 PM on (Saturday and Sunday). As per an official, the tourists will be able to see Mayer Ghat. The place where the wife of Shri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa used to visit daily.
Also, special arrangements will be there for educational tours. A free tour guide will be there to facilitate guests.
Safety protocols will be in place keeping the pandemic in mind.
