Now you can make calls even is your pack gets over. Reliance Jio is offering a 24-hour grace period to prepaid users. Users can make unlimited Jio-to-Jio calls during the grace period.
The company took the initiative to provide some lease to the users. As users are unable to recharge their phones due to the lockdown.
Only Tech, spotted first the plan of Jio. The validity of the grace plan will be for 24 hours only. Also, the unlimited calling facility in the grace period will be applicable only for Jio-To-Jio networks.
In between, there were also headlines about Vodafone not extending the validity of the packs.
Also, Reliance Jio announced a new yearly prepaid plan costing Rs 2399. The plan offers 2GB daily high-speed data. The total data spread comes out to be 730GB for a validity of 365 days, after which the speed is reduced to 64 Kbps.
Apart from that data benefits, The plan offers free and unlimited Jio to Jio calling. For Jio to non-Jio calling it has a FUP limit of 12000 minutes. Also, it offers 100 SMS per day.
Jio also introduced three add-on plans specifically designed for people who are working from home. The plans are Rs 151, Rs 201 and Rs 251.
