Netflix has definitely helped us sailing through the lockdown. So, now the streaming platform has come up with its online store called Netflix.shop. It is the company’s first owned-and-operated retail outlet to sell products directly.
Talking about variety, the online store will sell some exclusive editions. This will be “carefully selected, high-quality apparel and lifestyle products” to Netflix’s shows and brand.
So, the products coming this month are streetwear and action figures. These are on the anime series ‘Yasuke’ and ‘Eden’. Also, limited-edition apparel and decor items. The inspiration is by the French thriller series ‘Lupin’ in collaboration with the Musee du Louvre.
For the store launch, the company is launching a collection of anime-inspired products. These are from three upcoming designers: Nathalie Nguyen, Kristopher Kites and Jordan Bentley.
Netflix developed and launched the e-commerce site with Shopify. The shopping site will be first available in the US. So, other countries might not get the site for now.
Moreover, Netflix already has deals for hundreds of products as on its original programming. So, the selling is by Walmart, Amazon, H&M, Sephora and other retailers.
