Noodle Kathi Roll Recipe: Quarantine Cooking

The Lockdown 3 is coming to an end and there might be an extension but with some relief. Still, the outside street food will be available or not, is a question. We surely miss those amazing Kathi Roll of our favourite joints. What about making some Noodle Kathi Roll or Noodle Frankie?

Here is a recipe to make a delicious Noodle Kathi Roll.

  • 3 tsp oil
  • 3 tbsp spring onionchopped
  • ¼ capsicumthinly sliced
  • 1 cup cabbageshredded
  • 2 tsp schezwan sauce
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 cup noodlescooked
  • 4 chapathileftover
  • butter for roasting
  • 4 tspschezwan sauce
  • 4 tsp tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  1. To start with, heat kadai and add 3 tsp oil and saute 1 tbsp spring onion.
  2. Also, saute ¼ capsicum and 1 cup cabbage till they cook slightly.
  3. After that, add 2 tsp schezwan sauce and ¼ tsp salt. saute for a minute.
  4. Now add cooked noodles and mix gently coating well with sauce.
  5. further, add 2 tbsp spring onions and give a good mix. keep aside.
  6. Heat a tawa with ½ tsp butter and warm up chapathi.
  7. spread 1 tsp schezwan sauce and 1 tsp tomato sauce over chapathi.
  8. place handful of noodles in centre of chapathi.
  9. sprinkle some chaat masala.
  10. now roll tight making sure the stuffing is intact.
  11. wrap the roti in an aluminium foil or butter paper.
  12. finally, serve schezwan noodles frankie or pack to kids lunch box.
