Netflix will be giving free access for two days in India in December!

Netflix is giving people in India a weekend of free streaming on its platform. The company will host StreamFest on December 5 and 6 . In this, anyone can log in to Netflix and watch movies, TV shows and more.

The StreamFest will begin at 12.01 am and end on December 6 at 11:59 pm. Netflix will allow one stream in standard definition on StreamFest. Also, this one will allow only one user to stream from one account. You can create one via this link or by downloading the Android app.

Also, the StreamFest supports casting to bigger screens.

Apart from free streaming, the StreamFest also gives you access to all of Netflix features. These include profiles, parental controls, create lists, download movies and shows.

Netflix is going to see a huge traffic. As per the platform, it will limit the number of StreamFest viewers but the limit has not been specified. Also, it will also display a message saying “StreamFest is at capacity” if it reaches the maximum number of viewers.

Greg Peters, Netflix COO and Chief Product Officer, made the announcement of the free streaming plan during the company’s recent earnings call. It is testing this first in India, and as per the response it will take things forward.
