Lahaul Valley gets the season’s first snowfall, Temp at Shimla falls

Winters are coming and so is snowfall. Many places in the country have begin experincing snowfall. On Sunday night, the Lahaul Valley of Himachal Pradesh has its first snow of the winter season. As per reports, temperature went down to zero degrees Celsius in the valley.

Keylong, the headquarters of Lahaul and Spiti, the minimum temperature went to minus on degree Celsius. It was between the night of Sunday and Monday as per the meteorological centre at Shimla.

Also, as per reports, a local from Sissu told a news daily about the snowfall. It continued for the whole night and day in the region. It remained frozen on the mountain peaks. At the same time, it also snowed for one millimetre in Manali and Kullu.

Also, the Sach Pass, Chamba had snowfall on Friday. This resulted in the suspension of the bus service from Chamba to Pangi valley.

So, as per the weathermen, minimum temperatures in Himachal Pradesh were a degree or two below normal on the night of October 26. Also, in Kinnaur’s Kalpa, the minimum temperature was recorded at 2.7 degree Celsius and 4.2 degree Celsius in Manali.
