The Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Trivendra Singh Rawathas, statement that organisation of the 2021 Haridwar Kumbh will have a limit of visitors. So, restrictions will be there on the number of people and entry passes will be there.
The Mela will happen in 2021 in Haridwar. And , everything will not be like before. Also, the Uttarakhand government are to take some strict steps in order to control overcrowding.
The CM told, “Passes will be issued to devotees as the congregation will be numerically restricted due to the coronavirus pandemic.”
Also, as per CM, everything was in discussion with the saints and seers. They all did agree in limiting the number of pilgrims. “A numerically restricted Kumbh makes it necessary that devotees are allowed entry into the Kumbh fair on the basis of passes,” he made clear.
Currently, preparations are in progress for one of the biggest religious fairs in the world. Photographers, travellers from all the world visit here.
Moreover, December is the deadline to complete all the work of Kumbh. Also, there are instructions by CM to follow all COVID norms.
So, the Kumbh will begin on Makar Sankranti i.e on January 14, 2021.
