Located in Ratnagiri district, Maharashtra lies a beautiful village called Kelashi or Kelshi. The place has a beach too! Check it out.
Talking about the location, the village is 25 km away from Harihareshwar in the Konkan belt. The place has two monuments. These include a 350-year-old Mahalaxmi Temple and a Dargah of Yaqub Sarvani. Also, there lies a sand dune which was formed by a Tsunami.
The beach is approx 2.5 km and has kevada, betel nut, cypress, and coconut trees. Also, you will see coins, conches, and shells on the shore. The coins are pre historic objects. In case you want to spend a relaxing day, come and see its beautiful waters, greenery all around. Also, a lot of migratory birds come during winters.

Also, there are many sightseeing spots too such as Harihareshwar beach, Shrivardhan beach, Harnai Beach, Dapoli beach. The Parshuram Temple is about 5 km from Kelshi. Another temple, Kadyavarcha Ganpati in Anjarle is about 15 km.
Directions: Dapoli is about 35 km away. State buses from Mumbai and Pune to Dapoli. Khed is the nearest railway station. From Dapoli or Khed, you can hire cars, taxis, local buses to reach Kelshi village.
