The Super Retina XDR Display of iPhone 12 is almost different from the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The best aspect is a wider, lighter display with higher resolution supporting HDR and Dolby Vision playback. And despite all of these changes, Apple has practically no lugs on the iPhone 12 display, which allow Apple to fit into a larger display on a smartphone that is smaller than the iPhone 7 Plus. Maybe the only difference of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus is they have 3D touch, and the latter has only the haptic touch. However, this benefit only occurs on paper with Apple giving up 3D Interaction.

The A10 Fusion chip within the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus is extremely wise, but its generation is evident now. The A14 Bionic chip is based on the 5 nm fabrication process in the iPhone 12. Apple states that the 6-core CPU on the chip provides a performance boost of 40 percent while the 4-core GPU saves about 30%. The Neural Engine has also gained a huge boost and now has 16 cores which are twice as fast as previously. Finally, machine learning simulations are improved by the second generation ML by 10 times. With such a big performance boost around the board, the iPhone 12 lineup will once again set a new performance standard. The faster new engine, ISP and ML also benefit greatly from applications that rely on them more and more for complicated and unique tasks.

The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus base model with 32 GB data. That was enough back in the day, but that’s barely enough today. Most users have certainly already encountered capacity difficulties on their iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The only other choice for storage was 128 GB.

No competition here. There is no rivalry. The only common aspect here is that all three devices will connect to a Wi-Fi network and mobile network. Otherwise, the iPhone 12 is faster with WiFi, newer with Bluetooth technologies and can pull higher data transfer rates. And this without taking into account the 5G support which enables users to pull gigabit+ speeds quickly on their devices.

Battery

Regardless of if you are interested in a better camera, screen or model, you can care about your iPhone’s battery life.
