The ex SDM of Dabwali Sirsa, Rani nagar is again in the the in the the headlines. She has decided to resign from her post of IAS. She took to Facebook to tell her decision about the resignation.
Also, she told that there are death threats to her and her sister Reema Nagar. Since 2019 she had been staying in Chandigarh Sector 6 in UT guest house with her sister.
On 17th April she posted a video with her sister stating that they are receiving death threats.
In 2018, she came in limelight by accusing additional chief secretary-level bureaucrat of harassment. Even when she was the SDM of Dabwali Rani used to receive death threats. She also wrote the complaint to DGP.
“I, Rani Nagar, daughter of Rattan Singh Nagar, resident of Ghaziabad, hereby inform everyone that I would resign from IAS. On account of curfew at Chandigarh at present, I cannot move out, along with my sister Reema Nagar. Even the Chandigarh-Ghaziabad roads are closed. After lifting of curfew and lockdown, I would resign, and on taking permission from the state government, will move for my parental home at Ghaziabad,” read the message posted by the officer.
In the video IAS Rani Nagar told that if something happens to her or her sister, this video should be treated as a witness. They appealed to show this video to CJM of Chandigarh under consideration case number 3573/2019.
She also mentioned that she will do the needful after lockdown ends and there is curfew in Chandigarh.
