Huawei to launch Mate 40 series in an event on October 22

The mobile company Huawei is all set for a major launch event. So, the company will be launching its Huawei Mate 40 series smartphone on October 22 in an event.

The news was out in an announcement by Huawei Consumer Business CEO and Huawei Executive Director Richard Yu through a post on Weibo. The post made confirmation that the company will be launching the Mate 40 series smartphones on October 22. The time will be at 8PM local time.

Talking about the invite, the background image has trees and the sky. In a separate video by a Twitter user shows the invite within the iris of a woman. Also, It indicates that the Mate 40 series will come with major upgrades to its telephoto lens.

Talking about specifications, the Huawei Mate 40 series will come in three variants. The vanilla Mate 40 is codenamed as Ocean, the Mate 40 Pro is codenamed as Noah and the premium Mate 40 Pro+ is codenamed as NOP-AN00.

Also, a report by PriceBaba says that the Mate 40 Pro will have a quad-rear camera setup. It is in a  circular camera module.

Coming to the front camera, the phone might get a dual-camera module. Also, It is in a capsule-shaped camera module, which in turn is placed towards the left side of the screen.
