Modak is an important sweet in Ganesh Chaturthi. Lord Ganesha is also known as ‘modapriya‘ for his immense love for modaks. This sweet is filled with jaggery and sweet coconut. They are in shape of a dumpling and have a lot of varieties dor instance, steamed modak, dry fruits modak, rice modak, chocolate modak. Also, some healthy modak made with oats, honey and seeds.
