Now stream Disney Plus via smart displays with Google Assistant

Now you can stream Disney Plus shows via Google Assistant. Those who have been using smart displays with ‘Google Assistant’ can stream Disney Plus shows on it. As per the firm, the devices will support this feature. Also, Nest Hub, Nest Hub Max and those coming from OEMs like Lenovo or JBL.

Disney plusNandi Byer, strategic partner development manager at Google said,

“Disney+ is a one-of-a-kind experience that transcends generations. Whether it’s a classic like Snow White or the new, live-action series The Mandalorian, Disney+ has something for everyone to love. And starting today, you can navigate Disney+ content on Google Assistant-enabled Smart Displays, like Nest Hub and Nest Hub Max, in select markets around the globe—just by using your voice.”

Also, those who have who have Disney+ subscription can link their account in the Google Home or Assistant app. After linking, they can play movies and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and more.

All this was possible before too, but now it can be done directly from the smart display.

Also, it is coming on selected regions including US, UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, Austria, Ireland, France, Switzerland, Netherlands, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. For now, there are no updates of it coming to India.

After Nteflix, Disney Plus is the second service to get this support on Google Assistant smart displays.
