After PUBG game ban, COD and Garena Fire Free downloads rise

There was a ban on the most popular game PUBG Mobile and 117 other Chinese apps  in India last week. Just after two days, it was also unavailable from the Google Play Store and the App Store. So, after the ban of the game, other games like Call of Duty: Mobile and Garena Free Fire have a rise in their downloads.

As per a report by Entrackr, Garena Free Fire and Call of Duty: Mobile are among top three downloaded games on Play Store and App Store. It is between September 2 and 5. Also, the data is frok Sensor Tower, the report said.

So, the Garena Free Fire had 2.1 million downloads during this period. On the other hand, Call of Duty Mobile had around 1.15 million downloads. Garena Free Fire is the top free and grossing game on the Play Store at present.

Also, there were speculation that Call on Duty  Mobile could be banned in India too. This is due to Activision’s partnership with Tencent Games. As per information in August, Activision cut off ties with Tencent after US President Donald Trump’s order.

Ludo king gameAnother game that joined the list is Ludo King.  The game had around 1.52 million downloads in India. During April and June time, Ludo King had even crossed PUBG Mobile. Also, it had around 48.3 million downloads.

One can still play PUBG Mobile in India but its server can be block very soon.
