Hyderabad’s first cable-stayed bridge has amazing night views!

What comes to your mind when someone names Hyderabad? The famous Charminar, Golkonda Fort, Mecca Masjid or Ramoji Film City. Now, another thing is going to add in the list! So, the cable-stayed bridge at Durgam Cheruvu is worth a sight! The construction is done and inauguration is awaiting. The bridge is 238-metre long bridge. Also, there will be multi-colour lights. The bridge is going to be a great attraction for tourists because of its amazing night view. Talking about the cost, around ₹180 crores are used to construct the bridge. The cables and pylons of the bridge will display 25 themes as per the occasion. The occassions include Telangana Formation Day, Independence Day, Eid and Diwali. Also, there will be reflections of the lights on lake. The Dergum Cheruvu bridge is the first cable-stayed bridge in the city.

Recently, Minister of IT of Telangana, K. T. Rama Rao uploaded a video of the bridge on Twitter. He wrote “A sneak peek of the very soon to be unveiled cable-stay bridge on Durgam Cheruvu.”

MindSpace to Jubilee Hills Reduced

The Durgam Cheruvu bridge will reduce the distance from MindSpace to Jubilee Hills by 2 kilometres. As per the reports, the inauguration of the bridge will take place this month. But dates are not final!
