Having its location in Humayunpur, Safdarjung, the area is no stranger to North-East Indian food joints. Bodo Ising is a new establishment serving flavourful, authentic, and pocket-friendly Bodo food starting at just Rs. 200!
So, the preparation of food here is using recipes from Bodoland in Assam. It primarily consists of boiled rice, fish, roselles leaves, and pork that is roasted in sesame seeds. Also, the cuisine also consists of vegetarian variants such as daal and Narzi (a bitter gravy made from jute leaves).
When you here, do try out their signature thalis, a true complete Bodo meal. Also, you will come across some delectable options like the Sobaijung Dao. This is an aromatic black lentil curry cooked with chicken. And the Omajung Jwgwnar which is pork cooked with soft mashed pumpkin and seasoned with aromatic spices.
So, the specialty of ordering these thalis is that you get to try everything with their in-house chutneys. These include the Fermented Fish & Shrimp Chutney, Star Fruit Chutney, or the Roselle Leaves Chutney! Also, Bodo Ising’s food makes for a healthy choice as it isn’t oily, but rather steamed or boiled.
What you waiting for? Head here at Bodo Ising for a delightful meal and all new experience!
