One of the most popular destinations in Asia, Bali has been shut for foreign tourists for long. This was to prevent any COVID outbreak. As everything is opening again, there were rumors’ that the destination will open on December 1. The Bali Deputy Governor Bali Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardana Sukawati, put a stop to all rumors much to the dismay of travelers.
Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardana Sukawati comments “There are no plans to open (tours for foreign tourists) on December 1. It looks like it will be early next year (it will only open for foreign tourists).” Also, this is not the first time that such speculations are there.
For now, Bali is open only to domestic tourists. It is trying to revive its tourism industry with many promotional offers in order to promote domestic travel.
