If Bali is on your mind, then you can visit soon! You might soon be able to visit Bali. As per reports, foreign tourists will be able to visit the place again, may be June under a travel corridor program. The Indonesian Tourism Minister Sandiaga Uno stated it.
As per reports, the Tourism Minister recently met Indian Ambassador Manoj Kumar Bharti to discuss the possibility of opening a Mumbai-Denpasar travel corridor. Adding, he said that India is a big contributor to foreign tourist arrivals in Indonesia. Also, most visitors from India prefer it as their vacation spot. Adding to this, the Ministry will implement strict health protocols at tourist sites.
Moreover, Uno his statement, mentions that travel corridor arrangement will further extend to countries that have successfully managed their vaccination program.
Sanur and Nusa Dua, are a major holiday spot in Bali. This will include a pilot project to start welcoming foreign visitors from mid-June or July. Adding, before beginning the pilot program, as many as 2 million Bali residents will get vaccines.
Also, he adds that government will allow a chartered flight to bring in travelers under the said pilot project. The place was not operational for travelers since quite long due to increasing cases among travelers. Now, with inprovement in movement and various measures coming up, the place open soon.
