Apple doesn’t seem to stop! Rumours are that the company will come up with an Apple Watch, widely tipped to be called the Apple Watch 6.
You can expect the launch before the end of this year. The new Apple Watch will offer mental health features to help out millions around the globe, said the reports.
The new reports are based on an exchange between Twitter user Nikias Molina and Jon Prosser. Jon confirms that Apple Watch 6 will indeed come with a feature to keep a track of a user’s mental health.
The tweet by Molina detailed the Watch Series 6. It will bring an S6 chip and a longer battery life while also offering sleep tracking and Pulse Oximeter features.
This new feature is said to compliment the heart rate monitoring capabilities already existing on Apple smartwatches that make them capable of identifying potential symptoms of anxiety in wearers.
According to XDA Developers’ Max Weinbach,
reports suggest that the Apple Watch 6 with this new feature may detect panic attacks.
It is then supposed to learn over time what symptoms occur before and during the panic attack.
The watch will be able to detect patterns and alert a user of panic attacks even before they happen to help them. This would help find assistance in time “Similarly to high heart rate notifications, the user would be able to look through the history of their detected panic attacks and see how the Watch behaved. The user can also manually specify the symptoms in order to further increase the accuracy,” he added.
Prosser replied “yep” to the tweet, confirming it.
No other details were provided by him.
Also, Apple Watch 6 will bring with itself sleep tracking in 2020. The challenge is to see how Apple deals with the Battery life. As, these features would require more battery.
The company could also shift to a faster wireless Qi-related charging standard to improve the Apple Watch 6.
