Prosser confirms in a tweet that the ‘affordable’ watch will come on September 15 during the virtual event. Also, it will have a design similar as Apple Watch Series 4. It might come in 40mm and 44mm sizes.

As the price is going to be low, it might lack some features. The two features it might lack are ECG app and the Always-On display. Moreover, the watch will have an old M9 motion chip. This was also in iPhone 6s, original iPhone SE and the 5th-gen iPad.

The company made the announcement of its September 15 event about two days ago. As per update on its events page, it said that it will be hosting a special event at Apple Park on September 15 at 10AM PDT (or 10:30PM IST). Apple usually does its annual event at the headquarters in Cupertino, California, wherein there are hundreds of people from all across the globe. This year, the event will be virtual.

Also, you cannot expect the launch of iPhone 12 in the event.
